B      Minutes of Previous Meeting

The minutes of the previous Board meeting held on 8 November 2022 were not discussed, and will be agreed by correspondence.

C      Conflict of Interest

VSS conflict of interest register is up to date for Board and SMT interests.

D      Public Accountability Workshop

Steve Mungavin (Chief Executives Forum) facilitated a workshop focussing on public accountability, roles and responsibilities, governance, relationships and values.

Steve to share slides with VSS to circulate to Board.

E      WAVE Trauma Centre

The WAVE Trauma Centre CEO provided the Board with an introduction to the work of the organisation.  Background, areas of work, challenges and key achievements all discussed.

WAVE highlighted the ongoing issue in respect of suspended PEACE funding – and the need for urgent resolution.

F      Group engagement (Families Beyond Conflict & Centre for Health & Wellbeing)

Staff and members from the two funded organisations met with the Board in Woodvale Methodist Church.  The groups provided an insight into their work individually, and also spoke on the joint project on Recording Lived Experience (including some personal experienced captured in that project).
