The Troubles Permanent Disablement Payment Scheme (TPDPS) closes to new applications at 23:59 on 30th August 2026.
What is the TPDPS?
TPDPS — sometimes called the “Troubles Pension” — acknowledges the acute harm which an individual and their family has suffered through a Troubles/conflict related incident.
You may be able eligible for TPDPS if you were injured in a Troubles/conflict related incident and your injury led to a permanent physical or psychological disablement.
The scheme is administered by the Victims Payment Board who will consider applications on a case-by-case basis.
