The Executive Office warmly invites victims and survivors, and those who support them, to join them in remembering all children who were harmed in residential institutions, and to honour their strength and resilience.
A memorial plaque will be unveiled at Parliament Buildings on Friday 20th February 2026, to honour the victims and survivors of Historical Institutional Abuse and in recognition of the lasting impact of those experiences.
This gathering is intended to be a safe, respectful, and supportive space.
Attendance is entirely voluntary and support will be available.
