VSS CEO Andrew gave a comprehensive overview of the Key Achievements of the project, and the Commissioner for Victims and Survivors, Ian Jeffers, outlined the research undertaken during Peace IV. Representatives from WAVE Trauma Centre, Sandra and Paul, gave a wonderful insight into the Trauma Education developed this far, and SEFF representatives Kenny, Peter, Andrea and Nevin gave us all a window into the experiences of victims and survivors by sharing project case studies. Shirley from REACT delighted attendees by finishing the speeches with videos showcasing the impact of PEACE IV Resilience funding through the development of an allotment project, among many other things, in this brave new post-Covid world.
VSS is currently working with its community partners to develop a Peace Plus application which will be submitted to SEUPB in late spring with the aim of further developing and building on the success of the health and well-being and advocacy networks established under Peace IV.
