Our Partners

Working Together to Support Victims and Survivors

VSS delivers support and services to improve the health and wellbeing needs of victims and survivors.  To help us achieve this, we work with a diverse range of organisations, agencies, and other parts of government and society.

In order to do this, we work closely with a strong network of partner organisations, including:

• The Executive Office which is responsible for setting policy and allocating the budget for victims and survivors.
• The Commission for Victims and Survivors which promotes the interests of victims and survivors.  The Commission is responsible for carrying out research and providing advice to The Executive Office in relation to policy decisions.
• The Victims’ and Survivors’ Forum which is appointed by the Commission to help in understanding the needs of victims and survivors and informing advice given to The Executive Office.
• The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) which has the statutory remit for managing EU funding programmes within Northern Ireland and the six border counties of Ireland. SEUPB is the Managing Authority for the PEACEPLUS programme.  VSS is Lead Partner in ‘VSS-PULSE’ – a PEACEPLUS project providing support and services to victims and survivors.
